Who we are
Where we come from.
BGH was founded in 1913, starting as a wholesale hardware store, over the years evolved into home appliances and in 1958 thru a partnership with Motorola starting selling TVs and Radios in Argentina. In 1963 founded SICOM the first alliance with Motorola to build communications systems in Argentina.
In 1967 started industrial activity in the country in Argentina and in 1978 started the main factory in Tierra del Fuego. in 1989 BGH was a key partner on the launch of the first cellular communications network in partnership with MOVICOM.
In 2003 BGH Tech Partner was founded, focused in Infrastructure and telecommunications, evolving over the years to represent Cisco, Huawei, Motorola, Oracle, SAP, AWS and Google. Becoming today one of the key partners for those brands in Latin America.

Marcelo Girotti
An Electronics Engineer from Universidad Nacional de Rosario, with more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications and IT industries.
He holds several MBAs and has participated in different postgraduate programs from Universidad CEMA, Instituto de Altos Estudios Empresariales (IAE), Kellog (Northwestern University), and Harvard Business School.
He is currently the CEO of Grupo BGH, the longest standing argentine technology holding, with more than 106 years of history. Besides his role as the group´s CEO, he was also appointed as Executive Director of BGH Tech Partner, one of the group´s companies.
Previously in his career, he was appointed President & CEO for South America of IMPSAT Fiber Network, CEO of IMPSAT Argentina, CMO & Executive VP of Product & Sales of Global Crossing Latin America and the Caribbean, among others.
As an entrepreneur and CEO, he fosters the adoption of technology for governments, individuals, and organizations in Latin America and Africa, in order to contribute to the growth and development of their citizens.
Fernando Montero
works as Finance Controller in BGH Tech Partner since September 2016, leading change management, focus results skilled in mergers, acquisitions, growing industries, and competitive positions.
He has a CPA degree at the Catholic University of Buenos Aires and was trained in Executive education at the Di Tella University. He also has more than 15 years of experience working in a multinational environment and supporting the business.
Pablo Vittori
A Systems Engineer from the Universidad Tecnologica Nacional. with more than 30 years of career in diverse IT and Management positions including 3 startups that he founded, he also worked in the past in management positions in companies like Millicom Argentina, EDS and HP Company, Pictage Inc and Globant, where he held several positions from Mobile Studio Partner to CTO for Latin America and Managing Director for the West Coast operations of Globant in the USA, at Globant he was responsible for opening operations in Colombia, Peru, Mexico, different cities of Argentina, the acquisition of a company from India and its integration with the global operation and participated actively in the pre and post IPO operations. Is a usual lecturer in different postgraduate classes from IAE - Universidad Austral and UADE - ESEADE. He also is an advisor and collaborates in different startups and organizations. With extensive experience in operations, people management, and capacity generation in tech companies.
Andres Alexander
has more than 20 years of experience in the IT and telecommunications industries. Currently, he is VP of Andean Cluster & Central America, leading the operations in the Region.
As a work history, he has a long career in Outsourcing Services, with wide and diverse experience in Account Management and service provisioning. He also has vast experience at Regional and Global levels, holding management positions in companies with a focus on "B2B" type of technology solutions.
Jorge Haran
works as Chief Digital Officer in BGH Tech Partner. He has 25 years of experience developing in similar positions.
He has a Public Accountant degree at the University of Buenos Aires and many pieces of training in IAE Business School and San Andrés University.
Gaston Gil
Paola Cervera
works as Regional Human Resources Manager in BGH Tech Partner since 2015, leading the proposals and operations of the department.
She has a degree in Communication of the University of Buenos Aires, and more than 15 years leading Human Resources areas in major companies.
